This week we have seen consolidation for the Indian stock market with downward bias. In the US market we have seen sell off amid tariff war and recession. This week, the Smallcap and Midcap indices have lost the momentum and continue the downtrend. India's GDP grew 6.2% in the third quarter of 2024, up from 5.4% in the previous quarter. Last week the RBI has announced additional 1 lakh crore plus liquidity injection in the system. RBI lowered the repo rate to 6.25% and February’s CPI inflation dropping to 3.61% (from 4.32% in January). The GST collection for February 2025 comes at ₹1.84 lakh crore (up 9.1% YoY). Globally, U.S. CPI reduced to 2.8% in February compared to 3% in January.

In February 2025, Models 1 and 3 returned +0 percent, and -1.21 percent respectively, compared to the Nifty 50 Index's -5.89 percent return.
In February 2025, the Nifty Long-Short is up +13.84 percent.
For the Year 2024 Model 1, 3 and Nifty Long Short returned +25%, +45%, and +76% respectively, compared to the Nifty 50 Index's return of +9%.
For the Financial year 2023 - 2024 (1st April 2023 - 31st March 2024), Model 1, 3 and Nifty Long-Short returned +86.48%, +82.78%, and +36.20%, respectively, compared to the Nifty 50 Index's return of +28.61%.

Since its debut, Model 1 has increased by 237 percent. The Nifty index has risen by 107 percent over the same time span.
Since its debut, the Nifty long-short strategy has increased by 486 percent on capital and 900 percent on margin money.
Model 1 has been operational since July 13, 2020, whereas the Index Long-Short strategy has been operational since August 14, 2020. Model 3 has been operating since July 12, 2021.
