This week we have seen the recovery for the Indian stock market. At the start of the week the Nifty crossed below 22000 mark but quickly recovered from the low and close above 22500 mark on Friday despite having weak global cues amid tariff war and continuous FIIs selling. This week, the Smallcap and Midcap indices have witnessed recovery. Both indices have gained by about 5–6%. India's GDP grew 6.2% in the third quarter of 2024, up from 5.4% in the previous quarter. This week the RBI has announced additional 1 lakh crore plus liquidity injection in the system. RBI lowered the repo rate to 6.25% and January’s CPI inflation dropping to 4.32% (from 5.22% in December). The GST collection for February 2025 comes at ₹1.84 lakh crore (up 9.1% YoY). Globally, U.S. CPI rose to 3% in January, with the Fed signaling no rate cuts in 2025 due to persistent inflation. The US market has lost all the gain post election rally amid tariff war.

In February 2025, the Nifty Long-Short is up +13.84 percent.
For the Year 2024 Model 1, 3 and Nifty Long Short returned +25%, +45%, and +76% respectively, compared to the Nifty 50 Index's return of +9%.
For the Financial year 2023 - 2024 (1st April 2023 - 31st March 2024), Model 1, 3 and Nifty Long-Short returned +86.48%, +82.78%, and +36.20%, respectively, compared to the Nifty 50 Index's return of +28.61%.

Since its debut, Model 1 has increased by 237 percent. The Nifty index has risen by 109 percent over the same time span.
Since its debut, the Nifty long-short strategy has increased by 504 percent on capital and 933 percent on margin money.
Model 1 has been operational since July 13, 2020, whereas the Index Long-Short strategy has been operational since August 14, 2020. Model 3 has been operating since July 12, 2021.
